Welcome to our site, the Sigma Chapter of the Pennsylvania State Organization of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
Sigma Chapter was organized November 1, 1947
Sigma’s 79th Year.
We are a society of women educators.
Our mission is to promote excellence in education
by encouraging the professional and personal growth of women educators.
Our members represent many areas of education from both private and public institutions including preschool through college and graduate levels. Sigma Chapter is comprised of educators from the counties of Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union.
Biennium of 2024-2026 has come to a close.
As Elizabeth “Liz” Brewer is closing out her Biennium, She is marking the end of an Era for Sigma
She is the last of a soul president presiding over Sigma Chapter.
There is a change in how things will be officiated starting this new Biennium.
When the Bylaws are updated and approved more information will follow.
