Since at present the Sigma Chapter does not have a complete Executive Committee with which to go forward into the 2022-2024 Biennium, specifically a president, Deborah Bernhisel has stepped up to facilitate. She has served as chapter president and will be a great facilitator.

Greetings, Sigma Members!
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International has much to share with today’s educators, and so does Sigma Chapter. But, sometimes, I believe, we forget that we have something worth sharing. We are the ones, as members, who can do the sharing. So, with whom will you share information about DKG? To whom will you offer a personal invitation to a Chapter meeting? What abundance will Sigma Chapter have created by June of 2024?
Sigma’s Future. The following Sigma Chapter members were elected to the Chapter’s Executive Committee at the May Meeting: Deborah Bernhisel (President), Karen Tinstman (Recording Secretary), Brittany Bunting-Specht (Corresponding Secretary). They will serve through the conclusion of the 2022-2024 Biennium. Discussion following the election of these officers centered on Sigma’s need to increase its membership during the coming year and to recruit additional officers for the 2024-2026 Biennium.
At our June Meeting:
– We will be collecting dues (need to be paid by the end of June).
– We will be meeting our 2022 Grant Recipient.
– We will be collecting items for School Kits and Relief Kits (see posting page).
– We will have Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends Shopping Passes available for purchase.
– We will be resurrecting our Read It Forward book exchange.
